You’re bound to have questions…

Do I need any prior Pilates experience to join a class?

Pilates classes are suitable for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. I will tailor exercises to accommodate each individual, making sure you feel comfortable while being challenged.

What is the enrolment/joining process?

Prior to joining a class, you will need to complete an enrolment form, so I can review your medical history and review your aims/goals. We will then find a time to discuss the core principles of the Body Control Pilates Method and conduct a movement assessment.

What should I bring?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Pilates mats, head cushions and any small equipment needed for the class will be provided.

How long are classes?

Sessions are 60 minutes.

What if I have injuries?

You must inform me at the start of the class if you have a new injury. I will then be able to keep a close eye on you and make modifications where necessary. If you have an injury, please consult with a medical professional before attending.

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes, if you would prefer a one-to-one session this can be arranged for you. I also offer ‘duet’ sessions if you would like to practice Pilates with a friend, it can also be a cost-effective way of practicing Pilates!

Do you have a waiting list?

Classes are limited to 12 people. If a class is full, I will add you to the class waiting list and I will contact you when a space becomes available.
